Miss G is off and running or crawling so to speak. Today she took her first "steps" and also decided today she would start pulling herself up all on her own. I can't believe she is crawling so much earlier than LM but she is so proud of herself and has even mastered grabbing a toy while balancing on the other hand and legs. Ahhh....the things that excite me these days ......although I am a little frightened b/c she will be into everything now so I need an extra set of eyes and hands.
On a different note we are still in countdown......yeah!! It's nearing time for daddy to come home. We are so ready for a visit ( I say visit b/c we know he will be leaving soon again). LM thinks daddy only visits us anyway ....we'll explain that in a few years. But regardless we get to play house and be a family again for a while. Thinking of taking a trip--just mommy and daddy --but everytime we think of that we think how are we gonna fit that in with a move and packing up so we rethink it and we probably won't take a trip until the kids are like 5 and 7 but we are talking and dreaming and planning on that day when it may come. Not that we don't want to vacation w/ the kids b/c we do but it's been a while since we had more than 4 hours alone in a public venue. The Navy usually takes care of that for us so we dont' have to worry about it. Anyway, we'll see what tomorrow brings and maybe it will be a surprise what is around the corner.

Yeah, it is a lot different when the second starts crawling. Because now I am not only aware of what I leave out but what Bear leaves out too.
And that is awesome that she is already pulling up on things. Bug is only now just pulling up to a stand on things. And when I say stand it is more of a bent over holding on with her feet on the floor. Quite awkward looking but funny.
